Mohammad Athar is a seasoned business leader with around 16 years of experience in planning, enabling, and promoting industrial and economic development. His expertise encompasses industrial development, investment due diligence, and economic planning, making him a proficient enabler of regional investments. He has significant experience in planning and financing SEZs and industrial parks, as well as developing infrastructure strategies for greenfield projects.

His educational background includes Executive Education at Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from IIT Kharagpur, and an engineering degree from AMU. Mohammad has led large-scale industrial and infrastructure transformation projects in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Oman), South Asia (including Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh), and Africa.
