Manish Mishra is the Chief Regulatory Affairs at Tata Steel. A Mining Engineer by training, he has worked for more than 25 years in different roles of managing mining operations and has worked closely with stakeholders like local communities, statutory and regulatory bodies, professional institutes, consultants, opinion leaders and policy makers. He has been involved in multiple due diligence exercises of mineral prospects in India, Australia, Africa, and UK from technical, regulatory and commercial perspective. In his current role, he represents Tata Steel in various national and international policy discussion related to steel, Mining, Environment to fiscal & Trade matters. He represented CII at Paris & Marrakech at COP21 & COP22. He has attended the General Management Programme at IIM, Ahmadabad; Advanced training for Mining Professionals at University of South Wales Australia (UNSW); and Short Course on Regulations, London School of Economics.
