Deepti Ameta is the Chief Operating Officer at Udyogini. A passionate advocate for gender and livelihoods, she integrates climate change into women’s entrepreneurship. Driven by impact at scale, she is instrumental in constructing, de-constructing and re-constructing programmes and strategies. Nurturing talents, lateral thinking and storytelling underpins her journey at Seva Mandir, Save the Children, SOS Children’s Villages of India, IDS, Sussex UK and the United Fund for Population Fund (UNFPA). Deepti’s long years of mentoring young people is now converted into a campaign of awakening self-belief. Deepti holds a bachelor’s degree in science biology and three post graduate degrees, including, one in Globalization and Development from the IDS, University of Sussex, UK. She was awarded the Commonwealth Scholarship – Chevening in 2013 and European Union Visitor Programme (EUVP) in 2022. She also holds a Visharad in Kathak Dance.
