Event Overview

India stands at a pivotal juncture in its journey to becoming a $30 trillion economy by 2047.
Vision 2047: Administrative Reforms for a Viksit Bharat is a flagship report that explores critical barriers in governance and administrative systems and presents actionable reforms to accelerate growth and development.

Indian School of Public Policy (ISPP) undertook a study to identify possible gaps and suggest changes. Recommendations have been made in the following six major areas:

  1. Improve internal collaboration
  2. Strengthen collaboration with external players
  3. Strengthen risk-taking ability in the government
  4. Ensure competent staffing
  5. Strengthen institutional mechanisms for integrated visioning, oversight and implementation
  6. Strengthen economic development focus in the current systems of urban planning

The proposed changes, if implemented, have the potential to significantly accelerate the pace of development and take India toward a Viksit Bharat.

This event marks the launch of the report, a culmination of extensive consultations with thought leaders, policymakers, industry experts and civil society representatives. Join us for a day of insightful discussions, engaging panels and thought-provoking keynotes from some of the most distinguished voices in governance and public policy.
